Traffic Signal System

 

designed to automatically organize the flow of traffic in ramps which can only allow one vehicle coming from a one direction at a time

  • 2 Traffic light lanterns with red and green LEDs

  • 2 Sensors (Loop Coil Detectors or Photo-electric cells)

  • Main electronic controller

How it works

In stand-by mode the traffic lanterns are in blinking GREEN status.  When a vehicle passes a sensor, one lantern will turn RED and the other will turn GREEN.  Both will have a steady beam. A pre-set timer will determine the duration of this mode, after which both lanterns will return to the stand-by mode.
